  151. AppPP is a crunching program made to avoid loading Powerpacker or another
  152. utility like that everytime You have one or several files to crunch or decrunch.
  153.  
  154. It has an AppIcon and a Gadtools graphical user interface which makes it easy to
  155. configure and to use.  It is specially made to be used from the WBStartUp,
  156. althouth nothing prevent to use it from the Workbench.

  158. Because it's entierely in Assembly written, it takes a minimum of place in the
  159. WBStartUp, it's so particulary adapted to small configurations.  (like mine...)
  160.  
  161. It can save the files in a alternative path, so that the source file is not
  162. overwritten.

  164. For the crunching fanatics, the datas has been organized in the executable so
  165. that it can be crunched efficiently !

  204. while all the files are distibuted in original and unmodified form.  It is

  268. Lausanne region.  If you live in another country (it's very probable, because

  288. No problem, simply double click on the program's icon.  You could start it
  289. automatically at the Worbench startup by dragging it's icon in the WBStartUp
  290. drawer.  In this case the tooltype "DoNotWait" must be set.  AppPP is volontary
  291. not runnable by the CLI, AmigaShell, AmigaDOS, or others Text Interfaces.  In
  292. this case, the program will quit immediately.  AppPP is an AppIcon program
  293. written to be started from the WBStartUp the Workbench should be started, and
  294. once the workbench is started, you needn't really the Dos to run programs.

  303. It's a graphical interface to configure rapidly and easily the program.  It
  304. appears when the config file is not found or when you double-click on the
  305. AppIcon.

  311. When you crunch a file and this gadget is checked, the resulting file name will
  312. have a ".pp" postpended to it.  It's the standard extension for the files
  313. crunched with Powerpacker.

  319. When you decrunch a file and this gadget is checked, the resulting file name
  320. will have a ".pp" removed from it if the filename ends with a ".pp".

  327. is checked too, all the icon corresponding to the treated files will be copied.

  336. With AppPP, it's not obigatory to overwrite the file that you crunch or
  337. decrunch.  To use this option, select the gadget "Use Alt Path".  "Use Alt Path"
  338. is short of "Use Alternative Path". When the gadget is checked, the file is
  339. saved in the directory indicated by the String Gadget "Alt Path".  If the gadget
